Reminders Please fill out the  Diversity and Inclusion Survey   if you have not done so already. Please send in your leaf for the school-wide  Family of Families Project  if you have not done so already. 

8th grade math class is preparing for the final exam with study guides. We will be working on our study guides for the next several weeks.  This week during our 5th grade math class we were visited by the 4th grade class. 4th grade is getting ready for middle school next year and wanted to see what it would be like to attend a middle school math class.

We are back from spring break and our eighth graders are hard at work as the countdown to graduation begins! In math class, students are studying the Pythagorean theorem  to determine unknown side lengths in right triangles. They are also enjoying their roles as team captains for the middle school intramural volleyball program. April 16, 2021 School Wide - Waste Free Lunch on April 22nd. Celebrate Earth Day! Since we will be engaging in Earth Day activities on Thursday, 4/22, students can wear their gym uniform. Autism Awareness and Acceptance Tag Day- Friday, April 23. Please bring in $1 and wear blue. Money raised will go to The Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support.   April is Arab American Heritage Month.      The 8th grade has been very busy 8th Grade finished Of Mice and Men and are now analyzing plot, theme, conflict, and allegory. 8th grade is studying verbals In math 8th grade just finished Chapter 8 in our text books and we have moved to Chapter 9- Square Roots and Proving the Pythagorean Theorem and its Converse Studying kinetic energy with slinkies in Science

Friday Prayer Service Graphing a Linear Equations    March 19th, 2021 Next week is SPIRIT WEEK!  Here are the themes: Monday - Pajama Day!  Wear your PJs to school! Tuesday - Twin/Triplet day Wednesday - Sweats day - Come to school in your coziest sweats! Thursday - Throwback Thursday/Decade Day Conferences are also next Thursday afternoon and Friday morning (3/25 & 3/26).  Please note - middle school students are expected to attend all scheduled conferences.
